Preferred Qualifications

  • eLearning creation or relevant work experience

  • Project management experience

  • In-person and virtual training facilitation

  • Video and audio editing/production experience

  • Degree in Education or Knowledge in Learning Theory

Job Summary

Responsible for the development and delivery of product training. Support creation, testing and review of new and existing courseware. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to identify specific training needs and develop solutions.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for instructional design and curriculum development for customer care product knowledge and product selling.

  • Creates, coordinates and delivers product training to point of sale agents including instructor led training, videos and eLearning at all sites.

  • Collaborates with merchandising team on current and upcoming products (seasonal and promotional) to develop and maintain current training programs.

  • Collaborates with merchandising and marketing teams on current and upcoming catalogs to develop new product, new services and new vendor training programs.

  • Maintains training materials to ensure current policy and procedure changes are incorporated in all related training materials.

  • Acts as liaison with vendors to coordinate on-site training and utilization of their training libraries.

  • Partners with product support to develop FAQ’s and identify training opportunities.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

  • Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.

  • May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location and/or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

  • Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
